2019 Best Ranger Design

The 2019 Best Ranger Competition marked the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and they wanted a different design to mark this historic occasion.  We decided to revisi the original 'Ranger Diamond' from WWII Ranger Battalions and changed it up to make it Black and Gold to match the Modern-era Ranger Tab. 

The event organizers also wanted to mix the 'old and the new' with the equipment and related tasks that would take place so we decided to build it out piece by piece.

Elements included in the design:

• WWII Boots / Modern Boots
• Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife (like at the Ranger Memorial)
• WWII Era Rangers practicing for the Pointe Du Hoc landings with a ladder and the Modern equivalent on the Wall
• Red and Black Scrolls with the years (Ranger Battalion insignia)
• Ranger Diamond (black and gold)

We also ended up making patches for the event as giveaways to the sponsors and they all came our great.
